When speaking with her through whatsapp she was quick to responded and answered all my questions. Once I met her in person I instantly felt a genuine connection. Dr. Pablo Daniel García Vargas studied medicine at the Iberoamerican University (UNIBE) in 2004 and specializes in General Surgery at Salvador B. Gautier Hospital, supported by the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo. From an early point in his career he was inclined to practice advanced laparoscopic surgery and bariatric surgery, performing several rotations and trainings in Advanced Laparoscopy and Bariatric Surgery at the University Hospital of Caracas / Clinica Santa Sofia, Venezuela, the Fellowship of Surgery Bariatric Hospital Metropolitano in Quito, Ecuador. He also participated in the Bariatric Initiative for Latin America (BILA) at the Endo-Surgery Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio in the United States.
In Strasbourg, France, he completed the Advance Course in Laparoscopic Digestive Surgery, IRCAD / EITS. In Dominican Republic, he completed the Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic, Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery in the Diagnosis at the Advanced Medicine and Telemedicine Center, CEDIMAT / Technological Institute of Santo Domingo, INTEC.
